He is smart. He is charming. This is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who solves crimes by day and commits crimes by night. In season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son, David Zayas, Jr., replaces his father in some scenes, as they are very similar. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in the second season, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side unnoticed. This will be my very first review on IMDb, not a day goes by that I don’t go to IMDb to check reviews of movies or TV shows that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and TV shows. For the first time in my life, I couldn’t sleep after watching the series. I saw “Escape from prison”, “Heroes” and many others. The first season of “Escape from the prison” and “Heroes” was great. They inspired me so much that I made tattoos on my body. However, these two series broke up as soon as they moved into the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment but DEXTER… Oh my god, episode after episode, I’m getting so curious about the next episode… damn season 4. I just couldn’t sleep all night looking at her. I spent the weekend watching episodes one after another. Let’s start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), his dark side was off the charts, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he is like that in real life, but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is the real him the wife who plays his sister in this series. Damn, Debra is such a messed up character and mostly controlled by the people around her, she always ends up doing something bad, but always gets credit for good things too. I like the part where we find out what is going on in Dexter’s head when he is thinking about something or when someone is talking to him, and also the part where he talks to his late father Harry. (he just thinks about what his father would say in this situation). All episodes/characters and all seasons are so well written and acted that there are hardly any flaws. My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka, damn Vince is so funny, he only says one word in the whole series and it comes off as damn funny. I can’t wait to see Season 5, and I’m sure anyone who watched Dexter feels the same way I do. (I apologize if my first review contains mistakes and offends someone’s feelings)
